What happens if a shopper returns or cancels an order?

It is your responsibility to manage all communication around orders with your customers. If an order has been successfully returned or canceled, you will need to go to your ecommerce platform and change the status of the order to Refunded/Cancelled to issue the refund to ViaBill, after which ViaBill will issue any necessary refund to the customer.

If the order has already been captured, you would need to process a refund. If you have not already captured the order, it can be canceled.
