ViaBill couldn't verify your identity?

Sometimes you may receive a decline due to our identity verification requirements (Know Your Customer). When you checkout with ViaBill, we require a few details such as:

  • Name
  • Address
  • Date of Birth
  • Email
  • Cell Phone Number
  • SSN
  • Banking information

This is so we can optimise the safety and security of all customers using our service. 

Typical reasons for not passing an identity verification could be that the information provided does not match public records or maybe on a government sanctions list.

In addition to these requirements, we are obligated by Anti Money Laundering regulations to approve or reject based on the verification of the information provided. 

At this time, the outcome of the identity verification system is final, and we are unable to manually verify or assess a customer's identity.
